![]() ![]() I won't even bother listing them here, you can write an entire encyclopedia about things that don't work in this game. Almost none of these glitches were present in the demo version, so it means they fucked it up in the process. I've encountered countless bugs, at least two of them game-breaking, forcing me to restart. There's zero flow to the combat, half of your arsenal is almost useless, arenas are either claustrophobic corridors or giant open fields with no cover, you're constantly running low on ammo. Every bigger fight turns into a total clusterfuck, there's no way to avoid so many fast moving projectiles, often can't see enemies amids all of the explosions, lasers and blood splatters. Half of the enemy line-up is just bulletsponges, which makes the matters even worse. ![]() Who the hell came up with those long hallway sections, where you're not able to dodge shit? They spawn like a hundred bad guys and the only thing you can do is hide behind a corner and pop up to cheese them one by one. The best strategy is to just stay behind and spam aimbot pistol/sticky bombs/auto-missiles. The game wants you to be aggressive, but being agressive grants you a death sentence. I'm moving around like crazy, but it often doesn't matter, you're constantly getting hit no matter what. Projectiles are simply too fast and not visible enough. Overall, I've put hundreds of hours into games like Doom Eternal, Titanfall 2, Ultrakill, Ghostrunner, Severed Steel, Dusk and the list goes on. And don't even let me start with all the "lmao ur bad, you need to just move around bro" arguments. This is the first time ever I had to lower the difficulty setting to medium. After a few levels Turbo Overkill becomes a total chore to play. Let's start with the most important issue - the difficulty. Overall, a lil bit of tweaking and it would be perfect. ![]() It had its flaws (too easy, unbalanced weapons, some enemies had pretty much no way to kill you). I LOVED the February demo of this game, replayed the third level many times and had a blast. Tl dr "Finished" product is way worse than its demo, difficulty is total horseshit, lots of glitches and overall weird design choices. ![]()
